Mark is the founding principal of CahoonSteiling | Studio. He has worked thirty-three years in architecture. Mark will see your project’s design and construction is well done, on time and in budget. Mark meets your needs from funding and program review through successful completion. Born in Helena he was raised in Marianna, Arkansas. After founding his architectural practice in Marion, Arkansas in 1989 he moved to Jonesboro. Mark plays numerous leadership roles in the American Institute of Architects Arkansas Chapter. By attending local and national events, he keeps current with cutting edge technology and its application to your project.
Jeff serves CahoonSteiling | Studio as a principal architect. Jeff began practicing architecture in 1991. He has gained knowledge in a variety of architectural disciplines and has developed the skills necessary for serving as the lead architect on many projects. His experience includes projects in Education, Medical, Governmental, Institutional, Industrial, Commercial and Professional Office facilities. As project architect, he is responsible for interpreting program requirements of the owner, generating design, reviewing code compliance issues, coordinating architectural and engineering disciplines, writing specifications, clarifying project requirements during bidding and observing construction to be in compliance with the project construction documents.
Jeff joined Cahoon Firm, P.A. in January 2004. In January 2006, Jeff became a principal in the firm and the firm was renamed CahoonSteiling | Studio. Since aligning with Mark Cahoon, Jeff has lead significant projects for Jonesboro School District, Simmons First Bank, Focus Bank, Southwest Church of Christ, Greene Acres Nursing Home and Parkey – Davis Dental Clinic.
Joe has thirty-five years experience in the architectural field. He brings to projects his broad experience gained while serving on a variety of planning and architectural efforts. Joe supervises production to ensure the most appropriate solutions are delivered in a timely manner and within budget. He also ensures that the best technical and professional resources available are utilized, particularly during the early phases when major design, budget and scheduling decisions are considered. Joe has in-depth experience in project programming, budgeting and scheduling.
Joe was born and raised in Northeast Arkansas and has been associated with CahoonSteiling | Studio for nineteen years. Joe has a wide range of experience in a variety of project types including University, office, medical, educational, industrial, institutional and commercial.
Jason has twelve years experience working as a production technician in the architectural field. He has contributed in a variety of ways during his experience at CahoonSteiling | Studio. Jason is responsible for production contribution and ensures that projects are produced in an efficient manner and on schedule. He plays an active role in determining the best solutions to production procedures and requirements. Jason participates in team meetings assisting in coordination with a variety consulting disciplines.
Jason began his association with CahoonSteiling | Studio in 2006. He has contributed greatly to several projects since his arrival. His previous experience was gained through another local architectural practice after completing two years at the University of Arkansas’ School of Architecture.
Thyrsie has been working in the field of architecture since 1990. She is responsible for all aspects of the business side of an architectural practice.
Jamey McFadden joined CahoonSteiling Architecture in the Summer of 2014. Born in Ripley, Tennessee and raised in Paragould his is a graduate of both Arkansas State University and Mississippi State University. Jamey has eight years experience in architecture. His expertise in 3D Modeling assists clients by providing a vision of what the finished building will look like on site, thus saving clients precious time and resources.
